Juliet Capulet

If Juliet were to come to ASA Clark, she probably wouldn't be seen as such a special person.  She was known for her forbidden love and how she was a rebel and didn't do as she was told when it comes to love. Now a days, it’s not that different. It is still dramatic, but not as much. Lots of kids now act like rebels. They don't listen, some don't have much respect for others and they act like they don't care what people think of them.

Juliet said that she fell in love with Romeo at first sight, now if she were to say that now, people wouldn't believe her. They would think that she is just going through a faze, and will say she never loved him tomorrow. Even though Juliet truly did love Romeo, she wouldn't be taken seriously. People now say the "I love you" words a lot more often than they should. Some people don't even mean it when they say it. It's interesting on what people will say or do to feel loved by many.

By Juliet going behind her families back and dating Romeo, is one way that she would actually fit in. Most kids now are rebels, or at least that’s what they think. They don’t listen to their parents when it comes to things. Juliet would have been one of the 'cool' kids because of how disobedient she was when it came to her loving someone that her family has bad history with.

With her suicidal act, she would also fit in; as bad as that sounds. People now are killing themselves left and right. Whether its bullying, family problems, and some only do it for the attention. Juliet did it for love. Which in my eyes is stupid, but yet again its not. Its cute to know she loved him so much, but it's stupid that she killed herself. She could have lived her life, maybe not happily, but she could of lived it for the both of them.

Overall, I would say that Juliet would fit in well with our generation nowadays. For her suicide, to her being a rebel. There are many ways that she would be okay to live here. She wouldn't get picked on, unless it was for her fashion of clothing.. Then she might. But other than that, she would be set. She wouldn't be judged to harsh I believe.
