What I Would Tell The Founding Fathers    Renee Barden

I would tell the Founding Fathers that I do appreciate all that they have done for us. I mean, now a days, the presidents have gone crazy! They have raised up all the prices on things, they have changed so many things, and not in a good way. When George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and all those other ‘older’ president were in the White House, they made things fair. They didn’t have it to were a lot of people are in debt. I think that Obama and the ‘newer’ president’s are not helping. The economy sucks! The air is so polluted, they’re cutting down so many tree’s. they cut down the trees to build more buildings, one’s that aren’t that important. They build like all these Fast-Food Restaurants, they build Clothing Store; even if the same tore is just down the road, it has gotten bad.  And now, thanks to the Fast-Food restaurants, now America has an obesity problem, I don’t even think they would know what that means; but not in a bad way toward them, in a bad way towards now. I wish George and them were here again.

Yeah, this might only be my opinion, but I still think life would be better if the Founding Father’s came back, just for a day or so, to talk to the current president. So the Founding Father’s could help Obama make better choices on how he is running things. And another thing, you gave us Freedom of Speech, but now, if you say curtain stuff or talk about curtain things, you can get in trouble. (meaning go to jail, or other stuff.)

Some things that I don’t think was right about how ‘Back Then’ was run, is:

v In the Constitution, it says that every man has the right to be treated equal, but then slavery was still aloud. I think that’s kind of hypocritical.

v And when it talks about ‘Man-Kind’, well, I don’t think that’s to fair to the women who live and exist. I’m just saying, not to be rude.

Those are the things i would tell the Founding Father's if I could have at least one day to talk to them.

The conflict in the story Diary of a Wimpy Kid is about this one kid named Greg, who has a low profile in his social life. Which is a person vs. person.  Greg and his best friend want to change that and become Popular before the end of their school year. Greg feels like his best friend is not helping him with that, until one day his best friend's arm broke. His friend was getting a whole lot of attention from the popular kids, so Greg decides to do the same, though, Greg was faking it. it didn't work out for Greg, so he felt alone. Greg's older brother tried giving him clues, but Greg didn't listen.
The resolution is Greg finally decided to give up and just be himself for the rest of his life. His best friend's popularity didn't last long either, so he joined Greg again.

My best friend, Lila, her mom, Mona, and I were all coming into my house from the main door. Gary got home from work early, so he was there too. Lila and I sat down at the dinning room table to do our homework and then the Savannah and Dawson 's bus came. Mona was like,
"hurry! Lock the demons out of the house!" meaning it as a joke. Well, I was running towards the garage door to pretend to lock the kids out. As soon as I got to the door, I came to a complete stop, and put my hands out. My right hand went out a little too far, and it went straight through the window.

I looked down at my hands, and they were completely bloody. I freaked out, but not about my hand, about the window.
"I'm not worried about the window, are you ok? Are you fine? Are you hurt in any way?" knowing me, I had to say a smart remark,
"besides my wrist gushing blood, I'm fine." Gary, Lila, and Mona where all spazing and Lila gave me a damp washcloth for my wrist. Mona took care of Savannah and Dawson while Gary and Lila took me to the hospital. On the car ride, Gary was talking about how I would probably have to get stitches or staples. That when I burst out crying. My worst nightmare is needles and stitches and all the stuff related.

As soon as we got to the hospital, I tried to stop crying. Yet, it didn't work, but at least I tried.  I still remember the pain of the needle(the one that they use to numb it) in and out of my wrist three different places. The doctor to tell her if it was hurting, I didn’t though. I could feel her putting the stitches in and tightening it, it hurt so bad! I didn’t tell her, only because I wanted it done and over with. It worked, it was over before I thought it would have took. When the doctor was done, I was way too scared to even move my wrist. (I still am to)

that is my lovely story about the first and hopefully last time I got my stitches.(:
